Leesa Olds, MA Ed, CCC-SLP

Leesa Olds is a licensed speech-language pathologist at A Step Ahead Pediatric Therapy. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education and Speech Pathology from Eastern Kentucky University and has over 40 years of experience providing speech and language therapy in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and residential programs. Leesa joined A Step Ahead in August 2024, bringing her extensive knowledge and dedication to supporting children and families.

Throughout her career, Leesa has worked with individuals of all ages and a wide range of communication needs, including severe communication challenges and complex cases requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She has a passion for mentoring and has served as a clinical supervisor for speech-language pathology students and new clinicians.

Leesa is committed to helping children overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and develop confidence in their communication skills. She believes in collaborative, family-centered care and is a strong advocate for her clients’ needs.

Outside of work, Leesa enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the beauty of nature in her community.
