Kayla O’Neill is a developmental therapist at A Step Ahead Pediatric Therapy, where she works part-time to support children and families. She holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on English as a New Language from Augustana University, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education with an emphasis on Developmental Disabilities and Early Childhood Special Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Kayla joined A Step Ahead in November 2018.

Kayla has extensive experience in early childhood education, having worked as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher for several years in Minnesota and North Dakota. Her expertise includes providing early intervention services, conducting developmental screenings, collaborating with families, and supporting children with diverse learning needs. Kayla is passionate about helping each child reach their full potential through play-based, family-centered therapy.
